Servpro is far and above a 10 star company. A pipe near my kitchen sink cabinet burst. They did both the water damage and the reconstruction. EVERY person I interacted with personally or by phone at Servpro was a true DIAMOND. Infinite gratitude and praise goes to Sebastian the manager, who negotiated tirelessly and rigorously with my insurance company to make sure I was taken care of. The water damage was extensive and while the other cabinets were not damaged by the water Mr Sebastian was able to make sure my cabinets matched to the old ones refinishing all my cabinets. My Insurance company also adamantly refused to cover the cost of a new countertop for the island even though it would not match to the new counter tops. Mr. Sebastian was able to work a plan and made sure my counters would match. I was happy to know Sebastian's focus was to make sure the job was done right and wasn't only profit driven. As a result of Mr.Sebastian's advocacy and efforts I was able to afford a brand new kitchen Which I love! I am a frail Senior Citizen and its important to mention that Servpro started work when I was 10 weeks out of major surgery and also have a special needs kitty who is my service animal as well. I cant emphasize enough how everyone at the company are rock stars and made me feel totally accommodated regarding my schedule and treatment of both my kitty and I. Ms Alana was very respectful and professional. Ms Alana faithfully kept me appraised of the crews schedule and always called ahead so I had ample time to get Francie situated comfortably and out of the way. Ms Alana was always infinitely patient, polite, respectful, responsible, and responsive with me. I can't adequately express enough gratitude and praise for Emmanuel who almost single handily did the reconstruction. His workmanship is precise, detail oriented, immaculate and has an excellent true eye for design. His suggestions truly brought my 1970's kitchen into a 21st century showplace. He was most patient, with me. He worked VERY hard in horrific heat to install my HEAVY stone backsplash which ended up with me not liking it, and professionally removed it and installed my new preference with a exquisite wood trim. I LOVE my kitchen thank you Emmanuel! Regarding the backsplash and me wanting to change the backsplash. All the staff in particular Ashley was over the top gracious, Patient and understanding in accepting my rejection of the labor-intensive work and installing the replacement. I must add that Emmanuel installed the laminate countertops + new backsplash without a single wrinkle, crease or bubble! He plus his partner removed, sanded, stained , and reinstalled 20!!!! cabinet faces in 1 day!!! Regarding the Water Damage Cleanup. David Stands out at identifying Mold that was caused by the water damage ( Which I now attribute to an overall feeling of not being well ). And him and the team being able to rectify and clean up swiftly!. Despite the language barrier we communicated perfectly and he was most patient, Respectful, skilled, and knowledgeable. Maria, Miladis, and Karen packed my entire kitchen with the utmost consideration. NOT ONE ITEM WAS DAMAGED OR BROKEN! and they thoughtfully made the boxes that held my stuff lighter for me to carry as I wanted to repack my kitchen myself. ( even though they urged me to let them carry them I preferred to do it ). They were very intuitive. I didn't have time to sort at all, but they brought my attention to important items that needed to be packed separately. They were wonderful. Also I had a huge wall of knick knacks and Karen was able to put back every single one accurately as it was before! IN SUMMARY- I would hire Servpro Southeast Portland again without any reservations. This is a company that truly puts the needs, preferences, and comfort of the customer foremost. (I threatened constantly to 'kidnap' them and take them to city hall to adopt as honorary Grandchildren- They are wonderful!)

While during a water remediation job, there was a large hole in my living room floor that was discovered when they pulled the carpet up so they could lay the new. Caused by Dry Rot over an extended period of time it had gotten through to the sill-plate and that was damaged as well. Servpro handled it beautifully and because it was unforeseen it was taken care of by the company. I definitely would use them again if the need arose. Dominic was the best PM, he listened to me when I had questions and gave honest answers about the entire process, says a lot for a long term employee and he helped me figure out the insurance as well and ways to use the materials I had purchased a few years ago that were never installed. They are now, thank you Servpro!

I haven’t used them for the service (yet) but we will see how the quote comes in. I’m specifically leaving a review for my experience just on the process of getting a quote. The two that came (James & April) were respectful, very thorough, and nice to work with. I’m thankful they were so informative and even let me know they saw some other things while doing their scope of work that could save us in the future. Thanks!

I hate to leave negative reviews, but I want to warn others. I apologize for the length of this. I contacted this Servpro aka of Servpro of SE and NE Salem for a free inspection for water damage and a quote for services, not realizing at first they were actually located in Portland. What followed were serious issues with billing, communication, and disclosure, leaving me with a bill of over $3,500 and only an asbestos report and a tarp on my roof. I told them at the time I contacted them that I did not yet have an accepted insurance claim and had very limited resources. I requested we proceed very cost effectively if any work was to be performed and never imagined this outcome. The first issue was a dehumidifier that was placed in my home after I was told it would not cost anything by the inspection team lead. It remained here for two weeks with no monitoring, no moisture readings, and no documentation. I’ve since learned this makes it ineligible for insurance reimbursement if my claim is allowed. I had to personally request its removal. I was never told the daily cost or how long it would stay or even why it was here. I was later told I had declined monitoring and been informed of the daily cost, which is false. Then, a technician cut holes in my walls for asbestos testing even though I asked him not to. He looked at me, looked at another technician and did it anyway. After this, I was promised a quote for services by the end of the next day but did not receive it for over two weeks. That is when I learned about the dehumidifier charges and the high cost of the asbestos testing I’d tried to decline. I was then billed over $2,300 for roof tarping at an emergency rate without prior notice or an itemized invoice. I had suggested finding my own roofer, but Servpro offered to send theirs without disclosing they would use a third-party out of the Portland area at emergency pricing for their travel time to/from Salem. Based on my understanding of Oregon law ORS 701.305, repair work over $2,000 requires written disclosure of price and scope, which I did not receive in the required timeframe. Despite multiple written attempts to dispute these charges and request documentation, I received no satisfactory explanation for them. The only concession offered was a reduction of dehumidifier charges of about $266 on a bill that initially exceeded $3,700. Even after paying the invoice in full, on time, Servpro continues to misrepresent my communications, make false claims about things I stated, and threatened me with a construction lien. Be very cautious if you do business with them. Confirm all costs in writing, ask for documentation before any equipment or services, and read everything carefully. I simply wanted a free inspection and quote from them during a stressful situation with water coming into my home, and thought they could be trusted to help, but it turned into one of the worst business experiences I have had. I do not recommend them to anyone.
