We recently had a tree fall on our home during a storm with high winds. SERVPRO was out the next day to cover/seal up the roof and all openings where water could get in. They also removed any wet material from rain water and dried out the inside of the house. Very pleased with the service and quality of work. Thanks to Chas McGarvey for standing in the rain with me to plan out our recovery from the damage.
We experienced a power outage during an excessive rainstorm. Our sump pump did not work due to the power outage and we had water in our basement. I contacted ServPro; Melvin and his crew came to our house within a couple hours. The crew was thorough, efficient and friendly. He anticipated we would need 72 hours of dehumidifiers and fans to dry out our basement; however after re-evaluating on a daily basis, the basement was dry after 60 hours. Melvin and his crew removed their equipment and we were pleasantly surprised to learn the final cost was less than the initial estimate since it took less than 72 hours. In addition, everyone I spoke with at the office was friendly, helpful and responded to my questions in a timely manner. We are grateful to ServPro and especially Melvin and his crew for helping us through a stressful experience.
My fiancée and I used Servpro's services after a pipe burst in our home in October. I called the day after it happened and spoke with an employee (I dont remember his name) who was very helpful scheduling a crew to come out same day. A crew was at our home 2 hours later and got right to work. I will be recommending ServPro to anyone who needs any sort of water removal.
Working here was a personal and moral challenge. As a black woman, there was a constant feeling of awkwardness and discomfort. I would suggest diversity and inclusion training for the 3 office workers who continually made me uncomfortable by down talking Hispanic employees, and attempting to identify me as “pissed” every time I didn’t engage in certain conversations. The owner is not personable at all, barely spoke 3 words to me throughout my entire period of employment. Additionally, I noticed that only black customers were being called “scammers” and being threatened with legal action when there were delays in payments for service. I also experienced an employee trash talking about me, because she was not careful and sent the message to me via text instead of it’s intended. I cannot speak for the work of the technicians and project managers who are out in the field but I imagine they are reliable and produce satisfactory work.
Melvin and his crew did a great job everything was done exactly how it was told it would be done.would definitely use them again.
