I had a bad instance of my dishwasher/sink leaking water everywhere in my kitchen. James from SERVPRO came over and did a very extensive reading throughout the kitchen and then supplied the adequate amount of machines to dry and clear up the area. When he came back to continue with the readings, he would ensure that the job was successful and everything was completely dry. James was very responsive, professional, and was great to chat with. I would definitely recommend their services.
James G. came out for a small upstairs bathroom leak. He was super thorough and went above and beyond to check for moisture in the ceiling below on the first floor for my peace of mind. Berta came with him later in the day to help with removing cabinets and cleaning after the removal. She was quick to assist and made many trips up and down the stairs with a smile. Lacey also was super helpful getting things scheduled and understanding of our situation. Appreciate those who have helped us out!
Things started out great. The initial response was quick, and our guy did a great job getting the fans installed and blowing within a couple hours. He showed up daily to check on the progress and moisture levels. On day 6, he pulled up the fans and told me someone would be reaching out for the next steps. The service has been sub par since then. We opted to go with the Servpro team for carpet replacement and wall/cabinet repairs. This side of the company has been inconsistent and unresponsive. Caiden Vail came to our home to measure and calculate the cost of repairs. He told me he'd call me in a couple days, but never called. I had to call the office after a week of waiting. The estimate was finally sent to my insurance adjuster, but not to me. Had I been included, I would have been able to find mistakes that were made. Instead, I had to get a copy from my adjuster. I was able to see Caiden didn't measure two bedrooms and our main stairway for adjoining carpet replacement. Someone was sent to re-measure about a week and a half ago. My adjuster still hasn't received anything. I have called the office three times with no response. Chris is very nice over the phone, but he has no ability to influence getting things done. On Tuesday, Chris said things would be sent to my adjuster Thursday morning. My adjuster received a call from Chris last the end of last week, assuring him he would have it to him soon, but now it's Tuesday and my adjuster has received nothing. As an insurance agent, I have always recommended ServPro to my clients in need. I'm going to have to find another group after my personal experience. This began on October 8th. It is now November 21st and we are no closer to getting repairs completed. The worst part is they haven't given us updates, and don't keep us posted on where we are in the process.
Had my carpets cleaned today by James and Logan. Very nice gentlemen. They made sure my carpet was cleaned of paint. Thanks guys!!!
We had recent flooding in our house in North Central Austin from heavy rains. Water seeped in from outside above the foundation line, and settled through the entire house between the hardwood floors and subfloors. Absolute nightmare, but ServPro of Hyde Park, and specifically David and Keaton, were on top of it right away. Couldn't ask for much more in terms of speediness, professionalism, and hard work to remove all the flooring and drying this place out. Thank you guys, and although I hope I never need your services again, I will definitely be calling you if I do!
