Confused customer: Began using Service Master in 2009. From that date forward, have been a loyal customer. Always pleased with the cleaning of our carpeting. Called recently to schedule a day and time for carpet cleaning. I was told to call back the following week, which I did. I have called at least three times, and was told I would receive a return call to schedule a day and time to have our carpeting cleaned. The scheduling person never returned my call. I am totally confused. No one has ever called to tell me why I was no longer welcomed as a customer at Service Master. I do not appreciate being ignored. I would like to know why, as a loyal customer, Service Master no longer wants our business. Please help me understand. I am, as I said, a confused customer.

Insurance called them in for mold clean up and dry out from a water leak. Trevor argued with me that there was not water nor mold inside my walls. As you can clearly see when the new company came in to fix there mess. They put 6,000 dollars worth of brand new flooring over top of molded floors . The mold was so bad it had formed its own colonies. The black is mold they cleaned off the floors. You have to watch them like a hawk and make sure that they do the job correctly. I was in a hotel when this was all going on. So I didn’t know they put the floors over molded ones until the new company started pulling them up . All the new floor was trashed . Waste of money and time I have now been out of my home for 65 days to
Fix there screw up .

ServiceMaster 🐍 🚨 🐍The company itself subcontracts out for Baptist East contracts because Aramark was hired and couldn’t fill the need they subcontract through Service Master. Baptist East locations are medical buildings. You are dealing with blood and urine! It’s a collection site of sorts. There will be no training, I was told to pull trash and touch the sinks if need be. I wasn’t trained on cross contamination, how to clean in a medical facility or how to dispose of trash with blood pathogens or other contaminants. They pay you very little to be responsible for a lot. The environment in the company is passive aggressive with regards to management. When I told them I could no longer work there they played games a whole week with me, didn’t try to retrieve their keys even though I said I didn’t want to be responsible for them and the liabilities that come with company property. They took a few hours off my check 1.05 and told me they were manually clocking me in and out. The company was so pleased with my work Baptist East that the manager and doctor came and thanked me personally. They also mention how horrible housekeeping is and just let them know anything I need because they was glad to have me. HR @Service Master expressed these same sentiments and ask me to stay. I appreciate and agree. Erika is a recruiter/supervisor. She is a joke! She never came out to do a walk through to increase my pay but she said i had no complaints since I begin. She said she would do a walkthrough Soi could be increase. Trevor in HR said the same. I couldn’t get paid more. She kept postponing. I worked in a hospital over 10yrs ago doing housekeeping for isolation units. You would like to be trained to do a job post pandemic dealing with so many new factors especially responsibilities and dealing with blood pathogens. Never was I once shown MSDS the location of them nor was I told how to use the rag system. I never got a uniform but they ask me to return one when i went to get my check 🤦🏽♀️ don’t waste your time. They don’t respect it and won’t pay you what the job is worth. 6 bathrooms, physical therapy equipment, 10 exam rooms with sinks and then 6 large exams rooms without them, 3 nurses station and 2 lobby areas, and 5 offices! High and low dusting meaning baseboards and I assume everything in between without training 🤷🏽♀️ printers keyboards, tv, pictures, cabinets high and low … let’s not forget door knobs, handles on chairs and yes you are responsible for floors which is factory tile throughout and trash! You also must wipe the exam and therapy equipment too which is a large area full of equipment and also in each exam room cabinets and equipment be it the cabinets and standing light, metal trash cans and hanging items in the room You have to dust and clean desks and decor. You also have to clean and mop two room break room as well and they pile empty boxes don’t break them down and take to the trash. Service Master wants you to do all of this alone in a dark parking lot at 10 pm one single person without regard for your safety or ability to complete the task with minimal risk. Two trips alone and even one with one person can be dangerous. These ppl don’t care, they expect you to work like you’re in a 3rd world country. This was worse cleaning company I’ve ever worked for. They can keep the hour and 5 min. For principle I will post this so all knows what to expect and to hopefully save you the trouble and anxiety I had to deal with working with them

Sharon is very kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The young men she sent out were all extremely kind, helpful, very respectful and did great work and also cleaned up after themselves. Our home was flooded due to the roof work we were having done and it was left exposed and then it rained and ruined walls, ceilings, flooring, 2 tvs, a bed, tons of odds and ends and worst of all- things that I had from where my mom and papaw passed away and left behind... especially the pictures that were ruined and I'll never be able to get back. They came across a small lockbox (that doesn't lock) that I didn't even recall was in one if the rooms they were stripping and it had my deceased moms jewelry in it. They brought it to me. How many companies do you know that would do that? Sadly, not many. I cannot say enough about these guys, they are definitely top notch. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

We had a water leak in the basement. Our homeowners insurance company arranged for service. Received a call from Sharon not long after hanging up from the insurance company and she arranged for service. She took the time to answer questions. The team arrived on time, were courteous, explained what needed to be done and went to work. They were efficient with a job well done. Lucky for us their work was covered by insurance but would definitely have them again if needed.
