DO NOT USE Very disappointed. Called to have a backed-up floor drain looked at. The first technician couldn't fix and senior technician(Mark Sulllivan) was called to evaluate. Mark inspected and determined that the floor drain p trap was faulty and needed to be replaced($6500). His crew would be out to repair next morning. They were late arriving and didn't show up until afternoon. They dug out the old floor drain, replaced p trap, and poured new concrete. Problem was they didn't recess the drain in the floor like it was originally. So now the basement will need to flood a 1/4" before any water flows in. Contacted Mark and was assured that this would be fixed. Same crew came out and I explained that the drained needed to be below grade. They claimed they understood, but instead just added more concrete around the drain, creating a "volcano" or "peak" effect. Called back and said that they still haven't fixed issue and was told that they installed how I requested and that there was nothing they could do. Have tried calling and texting and just keep getting ghosted. Now stuck with a new drain that will flood the basement.

Outstanding service from start to finish. Big shout-outs especially to Plumber Paul and Teri in Water Mitigation. I had a leak that caused damage in multiple rooms of my house. Roto Rooter was out the same day to fix the problem and walk me through the water mitigation process. Teri ran point and provided incredible service. Just having somebody to answer when you call or text is an essential quality in a business focused on customer service, but she went beyond that time and again. Every issue I raised was addressed quickly and even some that were certainly outside of her job description (and based entirely on my own cluelessness). If it was something she could handle, she did; if it was something outside of her department, she reached out and made things happen. Every member of the team that came out treated us similarly - very knowledgeable, courteous, and highly communicative. Grateful for the exceptional service provided by everyone, especially Paul & Teri.

Technician was great and professional. He did a great job clearing our sewer pipe after an on premise overflow that spread sewage onto our flooring. A supervisor then showed up to perform a video scope of the pipe at no extra charge. He showed us the cast iron pipe was scaled and that contributed to the soft clog in the pipe. He gave me a quote of $2,125 to descale and hydro-jet the pipe to smooth it out for better sewage flow. Then their water mitigation specialist showed up again at no extra cost to take photos and perform moisture tests on the floor. This person is the one who will file a claim on your behalf to your insurance company with the stipulation that they get the work to mitigate damage to the walls. I declined both as I wanted to research the cost to descale the pipe and review my insurance coverage. Well, my plumber descaled and hydro-jetted the pipe for $650. My insurance company said only I can submit the claim and also told me we were covered. They asked for photos to start the claim process. I asked Roto Rooter for the photos and they declined because they will only use their photos if they get the work. I called my plumber and they gave me a reference to another local company who came and took photos, performed moisture tests, and took infrared photos. They gladly gave me the photos to submit to the insurance company and said they would like the work but if we decided to go with someone else then that's the way it goes. Bottom line: great job clearing the sewer pipe; bad customer service due to high sales pressure, pricing was way off base, and not providing the photos for us to submit an insurance claim.

Our kitchen sink was beginning to slow down and then stopped draining. I am pretty handy and decided to take a crack at clearing the drain myself. After three hours and lots of buckets of vile water and muck later, I had managed to clean about 15 feet of pipe with no relief. We called Roto Rooter up and they were able to have someone out about two hours later. Bob and Sam were very professional, were quick to start and had their auger going and down the pipe about 50 ft before we knew it. They happily answered all my questions and even inspected my drainage with me so I knew where everything was. They were done quickly and cleaned up and packed up without any extra fuss. The one complaint (other than the price, but what are you going to do about that with the economy how it’s been) is that the reply system for confirming your appointment is set to 3 minutes and if you don’t answer immediately then you have to wait for the next session. If you aren’t on top of it, it’s easy to miss your window.
