I've never used Roto Rooter previously. I set up an appointment online which was easy. Within a half hour, I heard from a very polite woman who asked if I wanted my tech to come right away or later in the morning. (!) Jeff arrived soon after that call. He was friendly, professional, and got the job done in good time. The only downside was the price. It was pretty steep. However, it was an emergency since all my bathroom and kitchen pipes were clogged. I tried snaking them out, but I didn't do a good job. So, the price matched the emergency situation. I also clipped a $50 off coupon online which went toward the job. I give Jeff 5 stars, but the price 1 star.

I was very happy with the service I received today by Kit. He did an excellent job unplugging and cleaning the kitchen sink drain. He was knowledgeable and explained what he was doing. He did a good job of cleaning up afterwards and providing guidance to avoid this situation in the future. He was professional and wore a mask the entire time. Great job and highly recommend!

Kit showed up within a hour of me calling and was able to work with me on pricing. He continued to work for a couple hours even after the drains appeared to be cleared because he wanted to be sure I wouldn't soon have a problem again. He made an absolute mess of my bathroom, but when he left it was cleaner than when he arrived. He left a pipe protection solution for preventative maintenance of the drain. I can't think of anything else he could have done better.

Needed my washing machine drain pipe cleaned going out to my septic. Easy to schedule online and received text alerts to confirm and let me know when they were arriving. The guys were friendly and knowledgeable. Was it a bit pricey, yes, but you pay for convenience. They have a fee structure so if they fix the issue within one hour or 5, it's the same. You know this up front. You can try to get a regular plumber I guess but with my experience trying to get one for a smaller job a while back, seems they aren't really interested but this is what Roto Rooter does so no complaints. Been doing some laundry since they left, nothing like a cleaned out pipe. :)

On last Friday, 9/17/2021, I scheduled an appointment with the plumbing department. The appointment is on 9/29 which is totally fine as the issue is very mild and only a couple of water drops from a small hole in the ceiling. Later that day, 9/17, a person called Eliot from Roto Rooter messaged me saying he would like to take a first look.
At that moment, he didn't claim he was from water restoration team. He came in and did some mold and humidity check. Everything was fine, quoting his own words, "the wall and ceiling is complete dry". He said he can send the team to do the work on next day. Which is a surprise since the appointment was 2 weeks away. I specifically asked him if they are going to fix the issue. He said, his team will first cut holes in the ceiling and remove any water which he didn't find any, and then the plumber will fix the pipe. And also, he said he probably can find a plumber during weekend and if not then latest will be the next Monday. I told him there was no water to restore, but he insisted to cut the hole first and plumber would come by Monday and would need the cutting anyway.
The next day his team came and cut two large holes and they didn't find any water either. However, they still want to put all the dehumidifier machines in the room. Not until that moment, I realized they were not trying to fix any issues. They just try to cheat whatever they can to steal your money. There is absolutely no need to use dehumidifier at all but they just want to put them there to charge extra. Also they don't know nothing about the plumbing schedule but yet lied to you that they can find one really fast so that you can let them to do the extra cutting and let them earn the money.
Now it is Wednesday and there is no sign of plumber at all. I've been trying to contact Eliot and he of course hasn't picked up any of my call. I called Roto Rooter, and apparently they didn't even try to help. What a mistake that I trusted the company! And now the issue is still not fixed and I have two big holes on my ceiling.
