I have nothing good to say about this company. Homeowners avoid at all costs! Do not take your insurance company referral to them! Trades are sloppy and unprofessional. Some were argumentative and simply rude and yes I have the recordings! They try to make you feel like you are asking too much when you are not happy with the work preformed. Zack the manager is arrogant and condescending. Had the nerve to be disrespectful in my home. He refused to listen to the valid complaints. To this day the water flies out of my sink when washing dishes because they set the apron farmhouse sink too far back! Even after being shown pictures and videos he refused to understand why the position of the sink mattered. You will not get the same or equal quality in material or workmanship and you will not be restored to previous damage conditions. They make tons of promises upfront but fail to deliver. They try to make you feel like you are being a nuisance when trying to advocate for your home. All they are concerned about is bleeding the insurance for as much money as they can, then leave you at the end with a shoddy job. My home was not even professionally cleaned after job completion and trash was left in my garage for me to remove (despite them charging for a trailer for trash removal). They peddle the benefit of a 5 year warranty. But remember folks, the warranty is only as good as the workmanship! My island paint job is horrible and there are screw holes on the perimeter of all the doors and drawers where it was hung to spray paint. The surface is rough and blotchy and I was told “It’s not my problem, it’s the wood”, “you can’t see it if you stand back”. I had to fight to even get it sanded and repainted and it still is horrible. They also shrunk custom curtains, which they never had permission to wash, and claimed to have cleaned a rug which came back uncleaned stained with dry food on it. Despite me showing evidence and immediately sending the rug to be cleaned they did not reach out or even acknowledge their trade did not do the carpet cleaning or try to reimburse me for actually having it cleaned. Several calls were made to Michael and I was ignored. While my project manager Jason was a nice guy and did the best he could given the circumstances he is limited in his ability to force trades to preform, my grudge is not with him. I have had several companies (three to be exact) come out post job completion including the builders tradesman who initially did the house and have records of the poor quality work that was done to finish out the island. Even the wood is proved to be a less grade than I had! And that was not the deal! The only positive thing I can say is the floor tradesman did a wonderful job, they were always polite, respectful, and attentive to concerns and had done a beautiful job. If you want your home restored after damage to a condition it was before damages in regards to quality materials and craftsmanship DO NOT use PAUL DAVIS! You will be severely frustrated, dragged along, and forced to accept the unsatisfactory job of their trades. They do not stand by the customer! They get in by making promises they don’t intend to deliver on and cut in quality to line their pockets. They charge primo money on the initial work order then scam the customer with lesser quality items, they submit supplements that are baseless and not preformed in the home, they fail to submit addendums when work on the initial claim is not done (due to intimidation tactics), and fail to even do what the initial work order says like cleaning the home, and for services not rendered. They should be investigated for insurance fraud! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY OR YOU WILL REGRET IT!
Rick Walker did a great job with our house fire and very complicated cleanup inasmuch as the fire, soot, smoke and water damage were much more extensive than the insurance adjuster ever believed. That is until Rick time and again showed more and more fire & water related contamination. His experience and logical thinking gives him an edge over most others. And his professional dedication to us as clients gave us reassurance in a very frustrating situation. Thanks for all your help Rick.
No one wants to have to use a restoration / mitigation company since something unfortunate must have happened, but if you do Paul Davis is top notch. They are timely, knowledgeable, and will help calm your nerves in the face of uncertainty. Excellent group of people overall!
I have had an excellent experience with Paul Davis Restoration for the water remediation issues in my home. They came within hours of being contacted to start the work. There were some things that happened during the process by their agents were very knowledgeable and had positive attitudes. All of these agents did a great job: Estvan Ramirez, Alec Carr, and a special compliment for supervisor Rick Walker. Rick made sure an issue was remediated timely without any stress on us. He was very attentive and kept us updated on the status. I would definitely use this company again.
We are so grateful to have found Paul Davis. We have been very pleased since the moment we spoke to Rick Walker on the phone. Upon our first meeting on our property, he and his team exceeded our expectations with their thorough inspection, reporting methods, efficiency and sense of urgency, in addition to the sincere kindness they showed us. We have now completed the demo portion of the scope of work needed to begin restoration/rebuild of our home.
