Experience started out well until they set an appointment and did not show. I have a rule if a contractor is 15 minutes late with no phone call about them being late I drop the company. Being late with no thought of calling ahead many times is a sign that the company has poor reliability and customer service. Company called at 20 minutes late and I told them I was canceling them, no apology for being late just an attitude. There are many local businesses who want to earn your business, not this one.

Contacted Mark recently about work done at our house after Hurricane Ike. We had some leaks in our roof as well as shingles ripped off. Now I was a little disappointed since the roof was 10 years old, but understood it had been 10 years and things fail. Where I grew frustrated was after having 2 local contractors come out to give me a quote on repairs, they both brought up multiple issues of poor original installation. Both contractors had the same errors picked up on and suggested very poor workmanship when the roof was installed.
I contacted Mark to verify the shingle color and express my frustration. He listened to my complaint and was cordial but said literally he could give two sh!ts what the other contractors said about his companies work. Mark gave me his reasoning and I'm sure in this field there are complaints regularly but I would of thought he would at minimum had someone take a look and see what the issues were. He did offer to call me back if he found the exact color of shingle that was used.
Due to contacting two different local contractors with over 30 years’ experience, telling me the same issues they both found were because of the improperly installed roofing system as well as some other what I deemed minor issues during the whole project, I cannot recommend Paul Davis Restoration & Remodeling. Mark's disregard of the issues and attitude of just really not caring is a part of this as well.

Our family had the absolute worst experience with Paul Davis Restoration. They remodeled our home after a fire and I'm not sure where they got their workers, but here are a few examples of the horrible work their contractors did: 1- When we took a shower upstairs, we came downstairs and there was a puddle - they forgot to connect the pipes. 2- When we had the dryer delivered - they dry walled over the dryer vent! 3 - We wanted to donate items such as cabinets, etc. but they were all taken before we could get to them, and 4- many many items were stolen such as tools and more! Overall - they made a horrible situation even worse. I would not recommend them for any job - large or small.
