Jenkins Restorations was referred to me by my insurance company after my water heater bursted and flooded my basement. After the water mitigation, this company came in to put my basement back in order. I will say that I LOVE the flooring selection for the LVP boards that were installed and that work was done well. I do think overall, my basement looks better and more modern than it did before the damage. I also liked that the project manager (Demi Hartman) was in good contact with me throughout the project. She helped relieve issues when they arose.
However, there was a lack of professionalism from the workers who performed the job. On day one, they left for lunch without telling me and left my back doors wide open. Thankfully I noticed that they were gone and was able to secure my home. I think it is important for any contractors to remember that this is someone's HOME, and I think they lost sense of that. From the loud music and yelling across my basement (while I worked from home, I could hear them from the upstairs floor with the door closed.) to spitting in the stairwell inside my home (I get the floors were raw at that point, but you're still inside!) And leaving debris at my home for days after the work was completed, and leaving a motor scooter that still remains outside my fence.
The final kicker is that I was told that they would remove wall fixtures, paint the walls, and then replace them. It was clear after the painting was done that they had painted around the fixtures. I brought this to the PM's attention, and thought it had been addressed. Imagine my surprise when this morning, I find that they only did it to ONE of the 4 fixtures on that wall, and now I have to go buy paint to finish the work that was started.
TLDR:
While I like the end result of the floors and that my home was restored after damage, the shortcuts that were taken that I DID notice (what other ones were taken that I DIDN'T), and lack of respect of my property makes it so I could not recommend this company to anyone I care about. RESPECT goes a long way.

After our home was destroyed by a fire, we chose Jenkins Restorations to complete the renovations. Everyone on the team did an incredible job. We absolutely loved working with our Large Loss Project Manager, Larry Giles, who helped to bring our ideas to life, and was a joy to work with. We are so thankful for his patience and professionalism. We cannot say enough good things about David Monteagudo’s day to day management of the project and Jason Byrd’s craftsmanship. We are so grateful for all the many others involved in this project and the excellence of their work. We love our custom maple wood throughout. Their work with our beams, custom closet and kitchen pantry was stunning. Our kitchen island, cabinets, floors and stair railings have already received multiple compliments. Everyone worked so hard to make sure our home was done right from the detailed tile work to making sure our shower drained appropriately. We love our renovated home. The work done was absolutely excellent. 100% recommend! 10 out of 5 ⭐️ stars!!!

USAA sent Corey and his team over for water damage mitigation/clean up. They did a fantastic job. They were very thorough, thoughtful, polite, and professional. The communication was excellent, and they were always on time and efficient and very clean.
Excellent experience.

As an insurance agent, I have worked with remediation companies over the years and Jenkins has been the best hands down. They were very patient with us and worked hard to make sure we were satisfied and went above and beyond what was expected. I could not recommend Jenkins and especially our project coordinator Demi, high enough!
