They showed up on days they were not scheduled, we were told multiple times that they had some of their "best guys" on this job and by the 3rd or 4th time of them trying to fix their mistakes, we decided to be done with it. We paid over 50k and have a big dent in our ashphalt driveway fom the storage container they brought in, left nails and sharp corners of trim everywhere they cut the pieces in our front yard, we had to ask them a whole week aftger they were done when they were coming for all the garbage, scraps and tools they left. In the back yard they dumped all the sawdust, this was like right off of our back patio where we just had planted grass seed. They also saw the grass seed being laid because they were there the same time as the landscapers, like actually in our yard with them. There were paint streaks everywhere, they they kept raising the cost at the last min and we finally told them we were only paying them what our insurance told us to pay them and they were fine with that, so that additional cost was just taken off and didnt seem to matter, so that was also weird. The wood floor they installed now had gaps everwhere and squeaks, but they conviently have 1 year warranty, so now, a year and a half later were screwed on the wood floor that cost us thousands to be installed by them. The only reason why we went with them is because one of their employees works his "real" job with my husband, and when our washing machine leaked we didnt educate ourselves on how these businesses swoop in when you just so desperatly need them and were tricked into thinking it was the right choice. Big time bummer our experience seemed so different than other reviews but from start to finish, it just kept going down hill and we kept hoping it would just get better, but it didn’t.
***response to FIRE’s response*** the photos with the mint trim, flooring with tape on it, trim with light fixtures are all how they left it and after multiple attempts for them to rectify, we said screw it and chose to end the back and forth because we were not going to be able to have it fixed correctly. The other pics are the very few (I have many more I can upload) we had to send to Clark over and over AND THEN argue with him about coming out to fix it, which I think John ended up having to step in and complete, months later. Your building in Gladstone looks very nice.

The team at F.I.R.E are life savers! Clark was at my flooded house about 5 minutes after I arrived and immediately started mitigation. They worked late into the night and through the entire holiday weekend to get my home dried out and on the mend. Clark answered any and all questions and concerns and was so helpful guiding me through my insurance claim and even showed up for my last minute adjuster inspection. They were thorough, compassionate, informative and a great resource for any emergency I can imagine. If your ever in an unfortunate situation with your home, call this team before you do anything else!

Fire is never fun - especially during Covid, but these guys were awesome. The lead contractor was especially accommodating and responsive. I have since referred them to friends and family and it’s been great! I look like a hero - but it’s really these guys that deserve all the kudos!

You should definitely hire this great team! We have worked with many contractors in the past and have never had an experience this good.
We had a fire with smoke damage that destroyed the entire inside of our house, requiring a complete gut and remodel. We also had some complex insurance issues to deal with. The team (Greg, Scott, Troy, and Theresa) took care of everything. Their subcontractors did an amazing job of restoring craftsman arches, built ins and custom cabinets to bring the house back better than before. Not only did they do a fantastic job with the demo and remodel, but they stayed within coverage limits and handled the details with our mortgage and insurance companies every step of the way.
You will really be happy you picked the Fire team.
