Isaiah is amazing. He is going all he can to get my bathroom finished. One company started had s fight in my bathroom gutted it and never came back. 3 other companies said more than a6 month wait, other said they come out and never showed. I just want it done. I had some skylights damaged at night. My insurance company referred me to this company. They’re supposed to be a to this company. They’re supposed to be an emergency service, but they didn’t but they didn’t show up till about 9 AM the next day. They put five tarps over my skylights, and within two days three of them had blown off. I called them and they said they would have someone come over and fix them but they never did. They had me sign an agreement that the tarps were temporary however, they stated that after 72 hours there would be a charge to fix them. The tarps came off within 30 to 40 hours of installation. I explained all this to them but they’re still asking me to pay the full bill. Shoddy work. Don’t ever use them.
Most of their work is decent; however, there were a few times they took shortscuts. Their biggest failure is communication. They don't communication well with me (their customer) and they don't communication with each other. There were multiple times they sent people to my house to do work who had no idea what they were sent there to do. They would arrive, then leave to get supplies, because they were not given any information by the company they work for. Their estimater, Isaiah does not return calls. I spent weeks trying to track him down. He is extremely lazy and will do whatever he can to avoid doing extra work.
These people are consummate con artists. Allstate told me to use DRI because everything is warrantied for life. They start right off asking for more money above the deductible. Then it’s them playing games. It took six months to get my work done. They ripped out carpeting they were expressly told not to touch. They are now billing me $3043.00, not the insurance company for “pack out and storage.” This, they did without telling me. I had private property locked away for months, things I desperately needed. Additionally, when I refused to sign off until I inspected their work, they put a lien on my house! DRI did a lot of shoddy finish work too, and I had to call them back to fix it. I'm now finding other things they didn't do as well as they should have. A shelf in my pantry is missing and I can't find it (they removed all cabinetry for water damage repair), but DRI never returned it. Cabinet doors no longer close properly. It's just depressing that they can come into my house under the guise of water damage repair and then just do whatever they wanted. I wouldn’t wish DRI on my worst enemy. Poor workmanship, dishonest and incompetent
After dealing with another company who failed us at every turn, we were referred to DRI. They took care of all of our needs after our fire. Isaiah, did our new estimate and patiently answered all our questions, and we had a lot after dealing with the first company. They sent Arturo, who was AMAZING! We didn’t get an opportunity to meet with some of the others who came to work with him but they were just as kind and helpful. Beto, he was excellent at keeping contact through the entire process. And lastly, Dolores, who went back and forth with our insurance to take care of all the payment issues we ran into. I’m sure there were plenty others who I didn’t get the opportunity to meet but worked equally hard to help us get through a very difficult time. If you need restoration after a fire or anything else, call them first. They will take very good care of you!
