(Posting for Trish Downer) A leaking pipe inside an interior wall damaged the drywall, new flooring, and carpet in three rooms of our house. Although there was a delay in getting the restoration phase started, I am giving 5 stars for the outstanding quality of the work done by Derrick and his partner Raul. They gave careful attention to detail, consulted with us, and kept us well informed at every step so that were were confident our house was in good hands. They were a pleasure to work with, punctual, cordial, and very thoughtful about our comfort while their work was going on each day. The house looks great!

Company collects the insurance money immediately, but has you waiting for months and months to get work started on your home. Frustrating company and provides you with one excuse after another for the delays, and claims it out of their control. If they can't do the work in a timely manner, the company should not be in business. Insurance companies need to stop calling them! At the rate they're going, I'll be waiting a year, but they have the money. It's been frustrating, stressful and most of all, a nightmare!

After a water leak Belfor was sent to our home by the insurance company to assist with restoration. Though they were here 5 days after our damaged occurred they dragged their feet in all other interactions. We discussed with the estimator upgraded pad that was in bedrooms of our home. They did not take a sample. The person assigned to our case was non responsive. We had to ask numerous times for answers that never came. There were numerous excuses and everyone we spoke with had to talk to someone else. It took them 3 weeks to refer us to the flooring company. Communications that were supposed to be made by them were never done.We chose floors that were an upgrade and had to ask numerous times for the estimate of our cost. We finally received it two months after the claim was initiated. In conversation with Belfor we were given one cost for our upgrade. 5 minutes later in the conversation we were given another number almost 2k higher because the estimator “forgot” about something that should be included. 20 minutes after that phone call the estimator called again stating he read the estimate incorrectly and what had been quoted to us as an 8k upgrade was now 12k. They stated that they also added $2k in profit with the new floor. We asked for per sq ft material cost and he would not give it to us. Again having to “check” with someone else. We were told by the insurance and by Belfor that in AZ we have right to choose who will do the work. We contacted the flooring company to get pricing that Belfor would not give us and find out how much to have them do the work directly. As they had to contact Belfor for some measurements we received a call from the estimator at Belfor. He incorrectly stated that we told the flooring company we wanted to “cut them out of this deal”. Very long story short we are two months post leak, huge holes in our walls and floors and Belfor has backed out of the work. Don’t bank your home, your time, or your sanity on this company.

I'm about to go to the news media with how horrible your service has been. It's absolutely disgusting. Literately over a year out of our home and you've given us repeated "finish by" dates and it's never done. Also incorrect cabinets ordered. You've literally said it would "take only 5 days to complete" and when asked why over a year you say "you are overbooked"... now our insurance is up and it's not our fault that YOU haven't finished your job AT ALL. A family with elderly and 4 years olds has no home in 4 days! Also no warning of that either. Also never returning calls, maybe get a text back if we're lucky at the end of the day with no forward movement.

We had a water pipe in the ceiling above a spare room crack and leak for probably at least a couple of days before we noticed. Through our insurance they sent over some people from Belfor almost within an hour. (the first day they tore down he ceiling/insulation/ cut out parts of a wall. brought in fans and dehumidifiers and kept checking in over a couple days to make sure everything was drying out properly). omg what a disaster... but you would never know it now. The room is almost completed (only padding for the carpet left) and i cannot say enough good things about Mario and Jose who did the restoration work ! Punctual, professional, answered all of my (million) questions in a very friendly and helpful manner. And, not only were they both extremely friendly, and polite but that room looks better now than it did when we moved in 4 years ago, and that right after it had been flipped! And paint and flooring was all new back then. Over all I would give 10 Stars! These guys need a bonus! :) - Thanks BELFOR for sending such experienced and professional people to fix that room!
