My AC had been leaking and I wasn’t aware. My dining room ceiling was leaking water into the table. They came right over and looked at the damage, explained what needed to happen and the seriousness of the problem. I incorrectly assumed since it was after 6p, they’d get back to me the next day. WRONG! The team made it by 845p and said they had to get started and that’s exactly what they did. Extremely professional! Very thorough in the assessments. My service after that was terrible. The technicians were very nice. They were never on time. It was always after the appointment window by 4 hours and one night that stated they’d be there by 10 pm! Nope! Can’t come here at that time. They left these fans and dehumidifier running longer than needed. My really can’t imagine what my electricity bill is going to be. I’m terrified. It was never clear what was happing with my floor. They took up part of a continuous floor; stopped right in the middle of the floor and said I could section off areas. WHAT?! I think not. I was so happy for them to leave. Not one day was I ever first stop but I was definitely the late evening stop nowhere near time. I was home 3-4 days waiting on them.
I am still blown away with the professionalism and quick response to get my water issue taken care of. Miguel was very proficient in assessing the situation and getting the water mediation team to come dry up our leak. Peyton was awesome in explaining the processes and keeping us updated the whole time. I hope nobody ever needs them but I would highly recommend this company. Thanks again!!
We were referred to American Water Damage of DFW, by Ernie Plumbing, with whom we have had excellent experiences over the years so we did not even think twice of checking their reviews. We had a water leak and had to have our sink and kitchen counters removed. The technicians that came out to tear down and install the blowers to dry the wood, were very nice but never on time! They would give us a window of 1-5pm but wouldn't show up until 7pm, 8pm and on one occasion 9pm!. Mr Mendoza, Their Director of Operations came out to take measurements and pictures for the reconstruction and informed us that he would have the estimate ready in 24-48 hours. It took over 2 weeks! I emailed, called the office with no response from him. We had to constantly call for updates and when we called to request a temporary kitchen sink no one ever called us back! we were told they had made a note of it each time that we followed up and asked about the progress on the temporary sink! We eventually called Ernie plumbing and had a temporary sink installed the next day! To top it all, when I went to their office to pay the deductible for the tear down and drying portion, they charge a fee for credit card payments. I had no checks so I paid cash and the remainder of my payment ($23.53) I used my bank card. Savannah went to run my credit card and to my horror and surprise, I received a notification from my bank that they had charged $157.55 instead of the $23.53! However, she brought me a receipt with the cash amount that I had paid and a credit card charge of $23.53. I questioned the $157.55 charge and why the receipt had a different amount. She told me she only charged me $23.53 at which time I showed her the notification from my bank. She "supposedly" went back to check and said it was a problem with their card company or a glitch in their system. This has been a month plus, long horrible experience and needless to say we will not be using them for the reconstruction part. We called and spoke with the General Manager, Miguel who issued a refund. In summation, they are too expensive, overcharge and very unprofessional!!
Tony was very polite and respectful of my time. He explained the process and why it was so important to do it. Very nice They gave person! American Water Resources was on top of everything. Miguel and the staff were very knowledgeable and always told me the next steps. They gave me peace of mind.
Peyton was extremely professional and informative as well as efficient! He checked the next day on the progress of the tear, etc. He is awesome and warrants a raise for representing this company so well! I will recommend this company to everyone I know and I Iive in a close-knit condominium community! Thanks, Peyton, for all your hard work and also for serving our country!
