Let me start with Abbott as a company. They get urgent and they bend over backward to get people out to the site as promptly as possible. Rudy and Brandon were top notch. Rudy explained everything so well. He surveyed the source of the water as well as the room it affected. He explained the whole process and why they do things that way. He listened to my concerns, took them seriously and accommodated them everywhere he could. He gave me the confidence of his 15 years of experience so I knew I was in good hands. Brandon recommended several things that I should remove from the room because of the heat involved in the process. I appreciate that input so much because I value the things on the walls and in the closet. Brandon was able to get my baseboards off without damaging them. I appreciate his extra care with that. Rudy and Brandon were a great team that worked together seamlessly, with professionalism and care. What more could a client ask for? I’m so pleased. Added when work was completed: This experience just gets better and better. From Jen and Evelyn in the office to Scott in the renovation section everyone is on it, so nice and professional and they know their jobs so well. I was in a time crunch to get the work done and Scott made it happen for me. I am so appreciative of the client consideration and Scott going the extra mile to make sure things happened quickly. Thank you Abbott Cleanup & Restoration for making this disaster go away so quickly. What a great team and organized company!

Had a great experience with Abbotts Cleanup & Restoration. Very professional team, quick response time, and they made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Everyone was knowledgeable, respectful, and kept me updated throughout everything. It’s hard to find companies that genuinely care, but these guys definitely do. I highly recommend them for any restoration or cleanup needs!

Contractor negligence cost me my home — a procedural error with devastating consequences. I hired Abbotts Cleanup and Restoration following a kitchen fire at my Denver home in February 2024. What followed was a two-and-a-half-year nightmare that I am still living today, caused in significant part by a basic procedural error that Abbotts made during the inspection process. In August 2024, Abbotts called for a City of Denver 112 frame inspection of my fire-damaged home. The inspection failed. Abbotts told me the city inspector barely stepped inside the door and determined the structure needed a structural engineer. Based on that representation, Abbotts engaged Knott Laboratory to assess the property. Knott concluded the home was not feasibly repairable and required full demolition and rebuild. I proceeded with demolishing my home based on that chain of events. I later obtained the official City of Denver inspection record. It reveals that the frame inspection did not fail because a city inspector evaluated the structural framing and found it deficient. It failed because Abbotts never ordered the required MEP — Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing — prerequisite inspections before calling for the frame inspection. This is a basic procedural requirement that any licensed restoration contractor should know. The city never actually assessed the structural condition of my home at all. As a result of this error, I was never given the opportunity to find out whether my home would have passed a substantive structural inspection. That question can never be answered now. My home is gone. When I asked for a formal written repair plan so I could make an informed decision about my property's future, I was told it wasn't possible without further destructive investigation that never happened. At every critical juncture I was denied the information I needed. I lost my cat in that fire. My dog required over $4,000 in emergency veterinary care. I have been displaced from my primary residence for over two years. If you are considering hiring Abbotts for restoration work following a fire or other loss, I urge you to independently verify every inspection they call for and every representation they make about what city inspectors found. Do not take their word for it. Request the official inspection records directly from the city yourself.

Can't say enough good things about this company and Dawson and Norge in particular. They made everything super straightforward and most importantly seemed like they actually cared (rare these days) and were actually listening to my concerns and requests. Don't over think your decision, call these guys are you will be happy with the results!

Our building had a leak that impacted our unit. Even though remediation is never pleasant, Rudy S., Andres M., Yadai H., and Norge M. did a great job. They were kind, thorough, and communicative. We really appreciated all their efforts to take care of our home and get us back to normal.
